Brushing my teeth with my
favourite toothpaste when
waking up in the morning
and before going to bed,
baking a chocolate cake
for all of my friends,
going to the sushi bar
to eat the best kinds of fish,
are just a few of the things
that make me happy.

Jumping about,
running around,
bouncing, skipping,
doing my best,
winning.

Just a few of the things
that make me happy.

Because if you walk around
with a frown all day,
the wind won’t have to blow
for your face to get stuck that way,
it’s better to smile
and live and play,
to ignore the sky when
it’s looking grey.

When I’m feeling sad,
I guess I just think happy thoughts,
and that always,
always,
makes me feel better.

Poetic Context Kikumaru Eiji’s general feelings on life.

KKH’s Rant I love Eiji, he’s just such a sweet character, but he’s not annoyingly happy one hundred per cent of the time, he’s just an optimist. And we all need optimists. So yay for Eiji! Oh, and has anyone else noticed that the ‘;Poetic Context’ part is sounding more and more like a fanfiction summary?

The moment I saw toothpaste, it was like "KIKUMARU!!!"
where's oishi?? anyway, I especially liked "Jumping about,
running around,
bouncing, skipping,
doing my best,
winning."
The use of verbs reflects his jumpy personality really well.

:lol: Yeah, the 'toothpaste' is a dead giveaway ^^ I had Oishi in there first of all, but then I realised that it kind of made things a bit boring, so I tried to make it slightly more ambiguous and just mention "all of my friends" instead, since Eiji loves everyone :) Thanks, Eiji's just got that fast-paced kind of personality, it's one of the things that makes him so loveable :hug:
